can I take you home, to my house...

okay! so there goes my plan of updating every day for an entire month. but most of the time I never have anything to say! today is a little similar. first off, I gave my blog a facelift, it looks so much better with this new layout! I played around with inverting the colors a little bit, but I think I've decided I like the way it is best, although I might keep playing with things.

let me take a minute and gush over this lavender blackberry. this, hopefully, will be mine one day soon! I asked about it yesterday afternoon, knowing that if I rode the high of my dad getting taxes back for the first time in almost ten years, he'd be a little hard pressed to say no! he said "I'll think about it" which of course means that I'll have to wiggle my way into the chinks of his armour. I think I'll have to pay the data fee of $30 a month, but I would be happy to pay it! over the past few years I've become increasingly dependent on my cell phones. I started out before the 8th grade with a tiny little twenty dollar Verizon flip phone, and then I had a burnt orange enV as a gift for going to high school from my grandpa. I went over my limit and ran up the bill after a few months or so, and my phone was taken away for about a year and a half, two years. my seventeenth birthday gift was my phone back, finally!

in august of last year, I bought my own cellphone myself, an enV3 which I realize now is the wrong, wrong phone for me! I've gone through three in the time since I bought it, and I am very very careful with my phones. the quality of Verizon cellphones has declined so much over the years, but the service is impeccable compared to every other provider out there. anyway! back to the point! I've started living out of my phone, the calendar and my email and I've got a little memory card for it so I can take pictures when I don't have mine with me, and I text...a lot. I mean, with my inbox on my phone that holds 400 text messages, I empty it out perhaps once a week. so, yeah, I use my phone a bunch. I have my heart set on this blackberry, which is a little sad because I probably won't get it. I've also found that, the nicer your phone, the more you tend to use it - especially if you've worked your way up, shitty phone to less shitty to pretty okay to great to fucking awesome, and haven't had, you know...eight blackberries in a year just handed to you because you practically throw them down flights of stairs.

yes. I'm bitter. and I just wrote an entire blog post on a phone! good job, neely. goodnight! have a taste of my current (revived) musical obsession: rocco deluca and the burden.
